About the roc

Welcome to The ROC, Skilled Trades School. We’re here to help you navigate your future. Whether you're thinking about college or going directly into the field, we provide lots of avenues in construction technologies. The ROC is a nonprofit, 2-year pathway for high school juniors whose mission is to educate and mentor high school students for technical education and career opportunities in the construction industry. Across 6 schools and 3 campuses, students have the opportunity to earn dual enrollment credit, complete national certifications, enjoy paid internships, and learn from field experts.

The construction industry is an extremely dynamic field that encompasses every skill that brings a building to life. The ROC offers technical classes and job readiness training in several of these trades including, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, construction management, and apartment maintenance. Our experienced instructors provide hands-on learning, while industry partners mentor our students throughout the summer. You have the chance to take a flexible career path that is right for you, without massive amounts of student loans.
